Pastor Ken Weidinger. Pastor Ken is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a degree in education, Xavier University in counseling, and received his Master of Divinity degree from Lexington Theological Seminary in 2011. Ken has previously served UCC churches in Bellevue and Newport, KY. He is a former middle school teacher who felt God's call to ministry early in life and made the decision to enter seminary in 2009. His particular interests include working with youth, counseling, and outdoor ministry.
Elizabeth Fiene is our SONKA liaison. She has a degree in History and a Master's in Library Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Liz is a UCC Partner in Education, a member of SONKA's Church and Ministry Team, and a SONKA ACT representative. She is also a SONKA representative to the Ohio Conference Outdoor Ministries team. At Faith Church, she works with the missions and worship teams and coordinates the weekly children's sermons. She is involved in Christian education, serving as director of our annual Vacation Bible School. she has been a member of Faith Church since 1988.
Liz enjoys spending time with her daughter Megan, son-in-law Jeff, and her grandchildren. She also enjoys music, reading, knitting, and embroidery.

Karen Specter is our Licensed Lay Minister and Sunday School Director. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with a Minor in Education from Penn State. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Central Florida and has completed the Parish Nursing program at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati. In addition, Karen has completed the five-year SONKA Lay Minister program and has been a licensed minister since 2000.
Here at Faith Church, Karen serves as Chairman of the Christian Education Committee and is a member of the Missions, Worship, and Church Growth Committees. She also teaches a Sunday School class and helps with Vacation Bible school. On a broader scope, she has a great love for the church's wider global mission. Karen has served on SONKA's Global Partnership Committee for the last 14 years. With that, she has made several trips to Africa, where she has been instrumental in the development of a hospital at Rubate College in Kenya.
Karen loves to garden, quilt, read, travel with her husband, and spend time with her children and grandchildren.
Michael Massey, our Bells of Faith handbell choir director and church musician, began directing the choir in 2000. He has a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and a Masters of Church Music, with an emphasis in choral music, composition, and French horn. Michael and his wife, Leslie, have a son, Jonathan, who is also a musician and very active in the music at Faith UCC.
Paula King is our custodian and one of our Christian Education teachers. She has been a staff member of Faith since 1998. Besides working at Faith, Paula has been with Cincinnati Public Schools for 25 years as a paraprofessional in Special Education. Paula enjoys spending time with her two daughters and their families. In her spare time, she enjoys needlework, gardening, music, crafting, baking, and reading.
